Hi, We're JoshGen Upstate!
We're a family of believers located in the Upstate of South Carolina who are pursuing the type of Christianity we see in the book of Acts.
Identity
Our lives have been radically transformed by Jesus and we are seeking to spread the news of His Kingdom as we walk together in community. Our desire is for each believer to encounter the life of Jesus through His Sprit and for every one of us to become more like Him with each passing day.
We believe that every believer has a special place in the Kingdom of God. Our desire is to see each person growing in grace and freedom in order to be fully equipped and activated within Jesus' Chruch.
Partnership
JoshGen Upstate is in partnership with a field of churches called Four12, which shares our passion for authentic New Testament Christianity.
Message
Jesus is Lord! He died for our sins, was buried and rose again from the dead after 3 days. He has poured out His Spirit on those who follow Him and those who have believed in His name. He is building His Chruch and will return again to judge the living and the dead.
As we lay our lives down for God and one another, we invite others who share our desire to live for God's Kingdom, walk in the Spirit and experience the joy of living for Jesus to join us in this pursuit.
Meetings
We believe that Jesus is coming back for His Church, not just a bunch of individuals. Our desire is to give ourselves to the thing that Jesus gave His life for, His Church!
We gather to meet with the Living God. Our regular weekly meetings consist of Sunday gatherings and mid-week community groups. When we get together we want to spend time worshiping God, encouraging and exhorting one another, to pray together and to hear what is on His heart from the Bible.
We believe, however, that the life of the Church is not just confined to specific meetings. We want to live in community and really get to know each other as brothers and sisters.
